Important Sale Week 14 – 16 May 20234
We have the pleasure to present our most prominent auction of modern art and design ever in Uppsala Auktionskammare’s history! The auction offers three very central paintings of the Swedish art history; “Kafferep vid Långsjön” by Bror Hjorth, “Sparmanns flygning” by Gösta Adrian-Nilsson (GAN) and “Hamnbild” by Sigrid Hjertén. The auction also includes a rich selection of international art works, such as Marino Marini’s “Cavalieri” as well as many other significant Swedish paintings and sculptures. Enjoy fantastic design by Scandinavia’s foremost designers as well as exclusive watches from well-known brands. We celebrate Firma Svenskt Tenn’s 100-year anniversary through a special section with beloved design classics, where Josef Frank’s chest of drawers ”Flora” is the highlight. The auction also contains a large number of furniture by the internationally sought-after designer Axel Einar Hjorth. Welcome to explore the catalogues and visit us during the viewing at Nybrogatan 20 in Stockholm!
