The catalogue for the Modernt & Contemporary Sale offers exciting design, importat modern and contemporary art, prints and jewellery. Highlights of the design department include the rare chair “Skoga” by Axel Einar Hjorth, a table and armchair by Carl Hörvik exhibited at the Stockholm Exhibition in 1930 as well as an impressive vase by Wilhelm Kåge. We also present an extensive department with Axel Einar Hjorth’s pine furniture and a nice selection of modern carpets by Märta Måås-Fjetterström among others.
In the extensive international art department there are masterpieces by Serge Poliakoff, Dick Ket and Jean-Paul Riopelle. In the Swedish art department you will find important works by Leander Engström, Carl Kylberg, Hilding Linnqvist, Rolf Hanson, Isaac Grünewald, Erik Olson and Olle Baertling. Do not miss the fantastic collection of Ivan Ivarson’s paintings and drawings with provenance from the artist’s family!

Last day to collect at Nybrogatan 20 in Stockholm: Wednesday 16 November. Opening hours are weekdays 9 am – 5 pm.
Please notice that after Wednesday 16 November we transport all items to our new premises at Magasin 1 at Södra hamnvägen 8 in Frihamnen, Stockholm. Collection at Magasin 1 is available from Saturday 19 November.
Please note that Uppsala Auktionskammare must have received full payment before collection can be made. Please send us a letter of attorney with the name of the person or the name of the shipping company if you do not collect your purchases by yourself.
