The sale with over 1000 lots includes art, antiquities, rugs, jewellery, asian objects, silver, modern design and much more! An extensive collection from the estate of constructivist artist Einar Höste, many interesting works by the ”Halmstadgruppen” artists and modern design objects by designers such as Josef Frank, Hans Erik Johansson, Berndt Friberg, Hans J. Wenger and Piero de Martini are to be found in this catalogue. This time, we also offer a wide department for classical books and graphic works.

Included in our April sale are 91 works by the constructivist artist Einar Höste, who unfortunately passed away in 2013. Höste is widely recognized for his many public works, including “Varierad skålform” from 1972 in Norrköping, “Variabel skulptur” situated outside the Supreme Court in Stockholm and “Geodetisk skulptur” outside the Royal Library in Stockholm.
This sale includes many smaller versions of his famous works, but also one of his most important and acclaimed projects; “Ändlös vägg (Endless wall)”. “Ändlös vägg” consists of 456 painted panels, together forming a check patterned system of 12 x 27,7 meters. Also included in the sale are several early paintings, graphic works and sculptures, which have never before been offered for sale or shown to the public. The entire collection will be shown at Nybrogatan 20, Stockholm 4-8 April!
